Good News for Intending Hajis
The Messenger of God said:
- “As you embark on a journey for Hajj, on every step of yours God bestow you with one act of goodness and is pardoned with one sin.”
- “As one offers two Rakat prayer after circumambulation, God the merciful reward the well-doers as if one has freed a slave. And running between As-Safa and Al-Marwah in Saee is just equal to freeing 70 slaves.”

“And when all the Hajis have assembled in the plain of Arafat, God the Blessed and Exalted descends to that part of the heaven closest to earth and say to the Archangels, pointing towards the Hajis, “Behold my servants” they have come to me in bad condition, covered with dust and burnt by sun. They have come from the far corners of the earth to seek my mercy. I pardon them all even if their sins have no limit. Go my obedient servants, you have been pardoned in advance and also the sins of those whom you name on this day.”
- “Then he said; “When a pilgrim stones a pillar in Mina, God the Merciful pardons one great sin of his for each pebble.”
- “And the reward of immolation, you will get in Hereafter”
- “And when a pilgrim get his head shaved before coming out of Ihram, he is rewarded with one virtue for each hair.”
